Spring Wedding in Traverse City

Sydney and Joe got hitched in Traverse City on April 20, 2024, getting ready at the Delamar Hotel and exchanging vows with friends and family at Visions.

A love story that truly makes you believe if it is meant to be you will find your way back to each other. Sydney and Joe went to middle school together to find themselves reconnecting as adults. After multiple attempts out of the house, Joe got up the courage to propose to Sydney, just the two of them at home after dinner, with champagne, love notes, and flowers just how Sydney imagined and it was perfect.

Their wedding day was spent how they wanted with each bride and groom having their maid of honor and best man and opting out of having a bridal party. This made their day feel more relaxed and all about the two of them.

Black, white, and cream being the color theme was to set the mood of an old-timey, old-money cocktail-themed wedding reception where the coveted flash couple cake photos were top tier. Sydney chose a timeless wedding trend with the vintage style, bespoke style cake which followed the theme perfectly. The champagne flutes they were gifted were a great addition to help complete their couple's photos during the cake cutting.

Their reception at Visions in Traverse City showcased a ceremony filled with greenery and nature aesthetic with large windows with a view of the bay. For an added festive and fun experience, the venue provided a late night hot dog stand!
